WHO WE ARE
The Latin Voices Society is a nonprofit organization based in the beautiful Okanagan region, committed to empowering the Latino community and sharing the richness of Latin culture with others. While we officially became a nonprofit in 2024, our team has been actively involved in the community since 2019. During this time, we have organized and participated in numerous community events, collaborating with other organizations and groups to celebrate and promote Latino heritage.
We strive to create opportunities for connection, learning, and growth through cultural, educational, and professional initiatives. With deep roots in the Okanagan community, we are proud to continue building bridges and celebrating the vibrant traditions of Latin culture with everyone.
WHAT WE DO
Our mission is to create a welcoming space where Latinos can celebrate their heritage, find support, and share their culture with the wider community. We aim to foster cultural exchange, strengthen the Latino community, and create opportunities for everyone to experience the beauty of Latin traditions.
Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to make a meaningful impact by fostering cultural exchange and community growth. Our Cultural Events Program brings vibrant Latin traditions to life, while our Niños Program engages children in creative activities that celebrate our heritage. Additionally, the Latino Entrepreneur Network supports and connects Latino entrepreneurs, helping them thrive and contribute to the community.
As a nonprofit organization, we are excited to take our efforts to the next level. We aim to host culturally rich events, partner with organizations whose missions align with ours, and continue offering innovative programs, resources, and opportunities to the Okanagan community.
